You Are:
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) will be responsible for the CISO oversight of a portfolio of the business. The Managed Services ISSE provides this oversight to the group of services and capabilities designated as “managed services” by AFS. This includes CMPS, XDR, ACE, as well as more project-specific managed services such as the new eFax and NMA.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ISSE provides CDP reviews, coordinating with change control, is the first line of review and recommendation for exceptions and risk acceptance and helps the Service teams to understand how they can and cannot interact with the AFS Security boundary.
- The ISSE also makes recommendations to the CISO whether the Service should remain operational based on their security and compliance posture.
Here's What You Need:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 6+ years of IT security, or cyber GRC experience
- Intermediate level working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks in use within the federal government, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework NIST standards for nonfederal systems (NIST SP 800-171 and 171A), and Risk Management Framework.
- 5+ years of experience in security compliance assessment and quality assurance review practices.
- Strong skills in communication and stakeholder management, strong ability to translate technical/security issues to business users and senior leadership
- 3+ years of experience in security architecture design, cloud security data protection, and cloud platform security principles.
Bonus Points if you have:
- 2+ years of experience with government acquisition (FAR/DFARS) compliance.
- Experience in a cybersecurity leadership or decision-making role setting policy and standards within a medium or large organization.
- Experience using Agile within project or development teams
- Certifications: CISSP, CISSP-IASSP, CISM, SSCP, SANS GIAC (e.g. GCIA, GCIH, GPEN), CASP, CCNP Security
