You Are:
The lead, Physical and Technical Security Operations Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing the physical security and access control compliance program enterprise wide. Duties include ensuring that AFS facilities meet or exceed established standards, AFS equipment ensures maximum performance and protection of AFS facilities, personnel and assets. The candidate will manage and implement process and procedures with respect to the Crisis Management Team (CMT) polices, capabilities and critical response needs. Compliance includes adherence to AFS, Client, and U.S. Government security requirements. Maintain lifecycle requirements for all access control system (CCure) server application and full-scope CCTV operations. Includes credentialing and facility access configuration IAW AFS standards and client requirements. Produce metrics and reporting IAW AFS corporate and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and implement proactive security and practical protective measures for AFS personnel, facilities, and infrastructure at the facility and, potentially, at off-site AFS locations
- Create, manage, and implement the security direction for effective and efficient operations for the protection of corporate personnel, assets and the safeguard of client information
- Support the Security & Intelligence Directorate (S&ID) through effective coordination and collaboration with corporate processes/procedures on basic Security and LE function. Document security mission functions, capabilities, and challenges
- Implement Access Control Plans, Emergency Action Plans, Security Standard Operating Procedures, and Physical Security and Site Security Plans
- Advise and assist the Industrial Operations/Corp FSO and CSO on infrastructure support to security programs, and long-term roadmap for future development related to the facility
- Manage security effectiveness and coordinate/collaborate with the S&ID to ensure proper protocol and security support
- As directed, implement security tactics, techniques, procedures (TTP), processes, programs, and policies as appropriate
- Assist in the development of staff products concerning the manning, organization, training, equipping, and effectiveness of security elements
- Implement and assign Program Control guidance for specific security programs
- Manage contracted Security Officer Operations.
Here's What You Need:
- U.S. Citizen required
- 10+ years of Physical Security and/or related Law Enforcement experience
- TS Clearance
Bonus Points if you have:
- TS/SCI clearance
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent government or industry experience
- Understanding of 32 CFR Part 117 physical/access control and the Intelligence Community Directives, ICD 705 requirements
- Prior DCSA Facility Security Officer (FSO) experience is a plus
- Investigative Skills
- Intelligence Analysis skills
- Experience with Government security operations
- Strong project management background or experience
