Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide cybersecurity services to support the cloud service provider's compliance with JSIG and NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Assist in developing and maintaining SSPs and addendums for classified cloud and on-premises systems.
- Oversee the change management process, ensuring that any changes to the system configuration are properly documented and authorized.
- Perform the roles and responsibilities of ISSM, ISSO, and ISSE as defined in JSIG and NIST 800-53.
- Conduct vulnerability management activities, including scanning, patching, remediation, and reporting, using authorized tools and following established procedures.
- Provide resources to perform ISSO duties, including identifying and managing security artifacts, managing necessary documentation, and communicating with system users, security oversight teams, and Microsoft.
- Review the security posture of classified cloud and on-premises systems in accordance with Continuous Monitoring Plans and current system authorization, using authorized tools.
- Review new account requests for requisite security clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and user security responsibility awareness before granting access. Perform periodic reviews of active accounts and privilege assignments to validate ongoing suitability.
- Review system security logs, security-relevant configurations, and vulnerability management tools periodically to confirm operation in accordance with system authorizations.
- Administer and configure security tools, scripts, and automation capabilities to integrate system resources with system security monitoring and management capabilities.
- Deliver monthly status reports detailing the progress and results of cybersecurity services, as well as any issues or challenges encountered.
- Adhere to quality, schedule, and budget requirements specified in the contract, and comply with all applicable policies, standards, and guidelines related to cybersecurity and information assurance.
- Maintain accurate cybersecurity artifacts/documentation in unclassified and classified repositories.
- Conduct Security Impact Analyses for suggested changes to system architecture and new capability integration efforts, providing security suggestions to support the integration of selected changes/capabilities.
- Plan, execute, and document test scenarios to confirm the efficiency of security features/capabilities.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of cybersecurity principles to include experience with:
- Microsoft and 3rd party security tools and ecosystems.
- WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
- Core networking concepts including VLANs, Layer 2/3 switching, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
