Job Description:
AFS is seeking an Azure Operations Technical Lead to manage and lead a team of over twenty Azure Cloud Professionals, including engineers, technicians, and developers. Oversee the day-to-day Azure cloud operations, ensuring all systems and processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement and maintain ITSM processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of cloud operations with overall mission objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud operations.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Support security audits and authorization processes for Azure cloud-based system architectures in accordance with the JSIG.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration.
- Oversee and assist with the support of Windows Active Directory Domain, Exchange, SharePoint, Skype services, and native Azure Cloud services.
- Support the implementation and management of cyber tooling including Tenable SC/Nessus Manager, Trelix ePO, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools including Splunk and Azure Sentinel.
- Oversee the Implementation of technical changes to supported environments with an automation-forward mindset.
- Perform root cause analysis and outline changes to prevent identified issues from recurring.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cloud computing, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience in cloud operations, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure and ITSM processes.
- 1+ year of experience supporting intel DoD systems operating in accordance with the JSIG.
- 1+ year of industry standards and best practices in cloud operations and ITSM.
- Possess a DoD 8570 Certification.

- Active TS/SCI required to start
