Job Description:
AFS is looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role offers the chance to design, build, test, and deploy mission-critical cloud application and service solutions. The role offers opportunity for developing automation tools, develop, operate and maintain CI/CD, pipelines. You will work with data flows crossing various controlled interfaces and will follow relevant IT and engineering development processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills and thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing efficient CI/CD processes to enable continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of best DevOps practices and streamline deployment and development pipelines.
- Maintaining comprehensive system documentation to ensure efficient knowledge sharing and system transparency.
- Maintain and enhance Cloud resources with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Here's what you need:
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle software development
- 3+ years of experience leading development of technical solutions through Agile processes
- 3+ years of experience with a scripting language such as Python or equivalent language
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK or other Infrastructure as Code deployments. 2+ years of experience with Configuration as Code tooling like Ansible DSC, Chef or Puppet
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins with code collaboration tooling, Windows and/or Linux
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments
- Experience with customer interaction
- Ability to debug, code, and automate routine tasks.
- Experience in supporting DoD, IC, or Federal Law Enforcement customers in a technical environment.
- TS/SCI preferred
Security Clearance:
- A minimum active Secret clearance is required
- An active TS/SCI clearance is preferred

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
