Job Description:
The Cloud Engineer supports the team with guidance, oversight, and execution of deployment of systems to cloud platforms. Provide assessments of available cloud computing resources and their viability / appropriateness for selection to support the data and applications delivered and maintained by the program. Assessments will include but are not limited to technical and financial optimization. Provide instructional guidance and direct support to the team in managing one-to-many optimized cloud environments, and ensuring they leverage the correct resources for optimal performance and cost. Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
Must have:
- 15 years of experience and a Bachelors degree
- Experience with deploying and maintaining software on cloud platforms (AWS preferred, MS Azure, Google and others valuable)
- Knowledge of tools and techniques to optimize cloud services for performance and cost
Nice to have:
- Experience with SecDevOps / DevOps tools and their use in cloud architecture
- Experience with the accreditation and authorization (A&A) policies, procedures and tools
- Experience with COTS and GOTS data science / analysis tools and their configuration in a cloud architecture
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
