Position Description:
We are seeking a talented Configuration Management Specialist to work on cutting edge technologies in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team of dedicated professionals solving our customers' most challenging problems.
In this role you will:
The Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for the identification, control, status accounting and verification and audit of program baselines including plans, specifications, hardware and software. This includes responsibility for the configuration management process, ensuring that it is robust and based on best industry practices. Responsibilities: Coordinate the Configuration Management program, process and procedures according to program requirements and industry best practices. Coordinate the receipt and traceability of changes throughout the baseline. Track the review and delivery of infrastructure deliveries. Maintain control of the infrastructure task requirements. Maintain the implementation and migration backlog. Maintain supporting documentation as needed. Apply a structured methodology and assist change management activities. Support change management at the organizational level.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4-year degree OR no degree with four years of relevant work experience
- Strong background in defining & maintaining released baselines
- Knowledge of configuration change control processes
- Experience in performing baseline configuration audits
Desired Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and Access databases
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to Military Tactical Solutions supporting ISR
Security Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
