Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Design and coding
- Systems programming
- Working with Networking technologies/concepts such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and OpenFlow.
Here's what you need:
- BS+ in computer science or related fields with 3 years experience or Master's Degree and 1 year of experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience in developing with C#/.NET/Python/Java/C++ OR C to include:
- Experience with distributed programming models
- Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services
- Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming
- Excellence in software engineering practices and coding
- 2+ years of experience with quality software
Bonus points if you have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience designing for operability
- Ability to debug and optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, ANYCAST, IS-IS
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures and distributed algorithms.
- Experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.
- Knowledge of networking and distributed systems is a plus
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
