Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and deployment of the cloud network architecture, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Planning, performing, testing, and documenting network posture to ensure proper/secure connectivity and operations within our cloud environment and external connections.
- This includes the management and administration of VPCs, Subnets, ACLs, Transit Gateways, Load Balancers, and Security Groups within AWS and third-party SW FWs and WAFs.
- Ensure interoperability between applications that need to securely communicate
- Creating and maintaining necessary supporting configuration artifacts such as network maps, detailed designs, test plans, operations readiness test reports, device configurations, and maintenance processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to define technical requirements, develop network architectures, and identify risks and mitigation strategies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on the implementation of the network architecture, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting processes
Here's what you need:
3 or more years of experience with:
- Network architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Software-Defined Networking/Routers/NGFW/WAF/ACLs
- Azure, AWS and/or Cloud
Bonus points if you have:
- AWS Cloud based certification(s)
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI
