You Are:
The IT Audit and Compliance Governance Sr. Analyst will serve as a team member supporting IT audit readiness documentation efforts, adherence for NIST 800-171 and compliance leading practices through a variety of work efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a documentation governance and monitoring plan for the IT Organization to prepare for upcoming audits and assessments.
- Analyzing business process documentation and supporting IT control walkthroughs to understand system functionality and supporting processes or controls.
- Preparing IT controls document to ensure compliance with requirements to be used as audit evidence.
- Creating and editing technical and functional documentation.
- Applying IT system control knowledge to applicable documentation.
- Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and meet established timelines with minimal oversight.
Here's What You Need:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years’ experience supporting internal or external audits and/or readiness programs.
- Experience preforming and reviewing IT controls, especially for access control and security management.
- Experience with collecting and evaluating documentation for audit readiness.
- Able to demonstrate experience with writing business process or system narratives
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate business process and technical information through walkthroughs and existing control documentation to prepare for upcoming audits.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
Bonus Points:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or working towards an audit certification is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of NIST controls and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), a plus.
