The work:
You help build the infrastructure to answer questions with data, using software engineering best practices, data management fundamentals, data storage principles, and recent advances in distributed systems. You develop and drive automated solutions and solve challenging data integration problems utilizing optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources.
- Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
- Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 6 years of total experience in IT with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data.
- Experience with Apache Hive, Apache, Pig, Apache Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop, and/or MongoDB or similar technologies.
- Build data pipelines to reliably load, transform, and deliver data from multiple sources into data lakes or warehouse destinations.
- Design and build data cleansing processes with various technologies to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing values in the data.
- Develop analytical tools and programs to transform and integrate data into scalable cloud repositories.
- Top Secret requirement
- Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science, or related field.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with data bricks.
