You are: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevSecOps Administrator (Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage volumes, networking resources, and other infrastructure components within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Environment Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure OCI tenancies, compartments, and policies to align with organizational requirements for security, compliance, and resource isolation
- Security and Access Control: Implement and manage security controls, identity and access management (IAM) policies, encryption, and network security groups to protect OCI resources from unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Monitor the health, performance, and utilization of OCI resources using built-in monitoring tools and third-party monitoring solutions. Configure alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address issues.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for OCI environments, including data backup, replication, and failover procedures to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Patch Management and Upgrades: Plan and execute patching and upgrade activities for OCI services, including operating systems, databases, and middleware components, while minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
- Automation and Orchestration: Automate routine tasks and workflows using OCI APIs, CLI tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC) techniques to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Inventory and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and security specialists to support application development, integration, and compliance efforts.
- Maintain accurate documentation of OCI configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Must Haves:
- Minimum of [5] years of experience as a cloud administrator or a similar role, with hands-on experience in managing infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Proficiency in provisioning and managing compute instances, block storage, object storage, virtual networks, and identity and access management (IAM) services within OCI.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, route tables, and security groups. Familiarity with cloud-native services such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Cloud Functions, and Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, GitLab) for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
Certifications:

- One or more of following: CompTIA Security+, A+, Network+, Cloud+, Pentest+, CySA+ or CASP+ AND
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional OR Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate, OR Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (within 6 months of employment)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
