Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services’ National Security Portfolio (NSP) is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to support the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system to provide maritime domain awareness in Northern Africa. The system will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating security information to enhance the security and force protection of maritime boundaries, natural resources, and strategic ports. The ideal candidate will work as part of a system integration team based in greater Boston, Massachusetts area, with occasional travel to Northern Africa to support both client and program initiatives.
The Work:
- Designs, implements, and supports LAN/WAN networks and for complex maritime surveillance systems
- Develops, maintains, and documents network system and service configurations
- Documents and troubleshoots network and system issues
- Creates and maintains network diagrams and documentation
- Tests and evaluates network systems and services to reduce problems and make improvements
- Willingness to travel to Northern Africa to provide on-site network engineering installation, operations, and reach-back support
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree, with 8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Must have CompTIA Security+
- Must have CCNA or higher Cisco professional certification
- 5 years experience with Cisco routing and switching design and configuration
- 3 years experience deploying and managing encryption devices
- 1 year experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio
- Experience with network management and monitoring toolsets such as NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds, etc.
- Familiar with Windows server configuration and operation
- Experience maintaining network baseline configurations
- Familiarity with Classified Computing and Information Assurance best practices
- Possess Cisco CCNP or or CISSP equivalent industry certification
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
