We are seeking a Project Coordinator Intern to join our team! This position provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to a dynamic international program while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination and administration. The Project Coordinator Intern will support our efforts to administer our International Teacher Program and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the program. The Project Coordinator Intern will provide support regarding candidate tracking through visa application and travel phases, housing and transportation, creating/delivering orientation materials, and coordinating with external partners. The ideal candidate will be globally minded, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
This is an on-site position and requires the ability to commute to the corporate office in McLean, Virginia. The Project Coordinator Intern is an entry-level position and is ideal for recent graduates or graduate students. We anticipate part-time support (~20 hours/week) beginning April through August 2025.
About the Opportunity
- Assist in coordinating housing arrangements for international teachers
- Monitor and track candidates' progress through the visa application and travel phases
- Facilitate transportation logistics, ensuring smooth transitions for teachers arriving in the host country
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to address any challenges and streamline processes
- Assist in organizing and scheduling events related to the International Teacher program
- Other duties as assigned
About You
- Recent graduate of an undergraduate program or currently enrolled in a relevant graduate degree program (e.g., Business Administration, International Relations, Project Management).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with different internal teams and external partners
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and coordination efforts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well in a dynamic environment
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to work from our McLean office 20 hours per week between April and August 2024.
