About the role:

Accela is looking for an experienced Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing Talent & People team. This role will partner with hiring managers and other business leaders across the organization to build and execute against hiring plans. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will conceptualize, create and execute bold recruiting tactics and strategies to continuously fill our talent pipeline, not just filling active requisitions. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, as well as, business partnership, program administration, managing the applicant tracking system and developing a strong candidate pipeline for the business. 

The impact you will make:

  • Take ownership of assigned requisitions and conduct full life-cycle recruiting activities for both hourly and salaried positions to acquire and support the workforce needs of the organization.
  • Work collaboratively across the HR organization on the management of offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full-cycle recruiting. 
  • Work closely with executives, management and employees to drive business results, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and outreach to recruiting sources, including state, local and community organizations, third-party employment agencies, temporary services and identifies new source. 
  • Develop requisition-specific advertisements for job boards. 
  • Cold call potential applicants to develop candidate pools. 
  • Screen resumes, refer candidates to hiring managers, coordinate interview panels, schedule and conduct interviews.
  • Organize, lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates. 
  • Recommend salary offers for review and approval by HR staff and hiring managers. 
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to prepare and obtain approvals for offers. 
  • Extend offers to candidates, coordinate/input data, and help prepare docs for onboarding.
  • Represents the Company at job fairs, community relations and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and OFCCP guidelines.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques, in order to be competitive in state–of- the-art recruiting practices.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting and tasks as required.

Expertise you will bring in:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience within a recruitment agency and/or in-house environment, preferably within the software industry
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of skills, including, cloud operations, DevOps, SaaS, field sales, pre-sales, sales operations, technical support, customer success, demand generation marketing, finance, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence to achieve desired business outcome.
  • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce (or similar HR information system) and applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse to share, retrieve, research and present business information.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others.
  • Proven ability to meet numerous internal and external deadlines, often under tight time constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze logically and solve broadly-defined talent acquisition problems.
  • Proven ability to implement effective solutions to business problems.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including timely responsiveness and positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Proven ability to implement effective solutions to business problems.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write and present logically and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • A strong self-starter with a results-focused orientation and a proven track record of meeting expectations in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical and written/oral communication skills
  • International experience a plus, although not required
