About the role:
Accela is looking for a People Analytics & Technology Manager to support the design and execution of the overall people analytics and technology strategy at Accela. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Operations, you will partner in the development and drive delivery of key reporting and analytical support for the HR, Recruiting, and management teams, assist in roadmap development to significantly enhance Accela’s people reporting and analytics capabilities, and drive the strategy for automating and effectively leveraging our People systems. This is both a strategic and hands-on role allowing you think big and create.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as talent acquisition, HR business partners, finance, IT, and legal to design and build simple and delightful processes, automated workflows, and analytical dashboards and reports
- Deliver on regular reporting needs while seeking opportunity to streamline and automate
- Own the HR and Recruiting technology stack, updates, upgrades and integrations
- Own people data and analytics to ensure the people team is making data-driven decisions and insightfully advising the business
- Aid in the maintenance of data integrity and systems with regular audits
- Support Accela’s diversity initiatives and provide reporting and analytics for EEO, affirmative action reporting, and pay equity analysis requirements
- As needed, act as a first point of contact for business process and functional expertise related to HR Operations, with a focus on providing a positive internal customer experience
- Collaborate with HR leadership to provide seamless results within the organization
Expertise you will bring in:
- 5+ years of experience with people analytics and HR Technology, preferably in the software market
- Ability to balance strong detail orientation with an emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture and build broad-based solutions
- Solid experience with ADP and Greenhouse preferred
- A passion for automating systems & guiding teams to streamline their workflows
- Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others
- Problem solving skills that get to the root cause of the issue and enable you to quickly suggest solutions
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Project management experience related to implementation of new programs, systems and/or processes
- Self-starter with a results-focused orientation and a proven track record of successfully meeting expectations in a dynamic environment
- Bias to action and desire to see things to conclusion
- Ability to work independently in a constantly changing environment
