Summary: 

We are seeking a visionary Executive Producer to lead the development and production of high-quality live-action content. This role is ideal for an experienced producer with a strong creative and strategic vision, proven production management expertise, and a passion for compelling storytelling. As the Executive Producer, you will be working with an in-progress IP and oversee the entire production cycle—from concept development through post-production—while ensuring the project’s success, adherence to budget, and alignment with network, streaming and other standards. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Guide projects from inception through delivery, overseeing creative development, production, and post-production stages. 
  • Collaborate with writers, directors, and key creative team members to shape the project’s creative direction, ensuring it aligns with the network or streaming service’s goals. 
  • Oversee project budgets and timelines, adjusting as needed to stay within financial constraints while meeting creative goals. 
  • Lead and inspire a team of producers, directors, writers, and crew, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. 
  • Act as the primary liaison between network executives, production partners, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and handling feedback effectively. 
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential production challenges, ensuring contingency plans are in place for unforeseen issues. 
  • Uphold high standards of production quality, conducting regular reviews of scripts, dailies, edits, and final cuts to ensure a polished final product. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive programming, incorporating insights to enhance project relevancy and impact. 

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years in production with a minimum of 3-5 years in a senior or executive producing role, specifically in live-action television. 
  • Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end production process, including pre-production, on-set experience, and post-production. 
  • Strong creative instincts with a track record of delivering successful projects that resonate with audiences. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex production schedules. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to foster relationships across departments and with external partners. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt to changes, and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced production environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television Production, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $220,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a competitive package of benefits including paid time off, sick time, company holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
