Abodu has been defining the ADU industry through its thoughtful design and easy turn-key
experience since 2018, giving homeowners the opportunity to add additional space to their
properties for family, friends, work, play, and rental income. We are now the largest and most
experienced end-to-end ADU builder in the country and we don’t intend on slowing down!
We're looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our sales team at Abodu. Entirely focused
on the sales function, you will report directly to our VP of Sales with the objective of managing
customer interactions in the first half of the sales funnel by conducting lead qualification,
customer outreach, introductory calls, showroom tours, and various ad hoc sales and marketing
events.
This role represents an opportunity to be an early hire at a Series A stage startup that’s rapidly
growing and leading a new multi-billion-dollar category. We’ve got an inspiring, brilliant, and

In addition to base pay, quarterly bonuses will be earned for hitting key metrics related to
conversion of new opportunities to later stages in the sales funnel.

Responsibilities:

● Commit to Abodu’s clients (and potential clients) to maintain a high level of engagement
and deliver an excellent customer experience
● Build a deep understanding of the Abodu process so that you can accurately and
concisely communicate the experience of buying and installing an Abodu to
homeowners
● Conduct informational/introductory calls and emails to new leads to answer their
questions and push them to book the next steps in their customer journey
● Lead showroom tours with prospective customers and get them excited about our ADUs
and how they can solve their family needs or generate passive income for them
● Book on-site assessments with prospective clients where our team visits homeowners’
properties to assess project feasibility and their individual needs
● Communicate and coordinate regularly with the rest of the Sales Team and Sales
Managers
● Capture thorough notes and work through Salesforce and Dialpad to capture all
customer interactions and coordinate the documents at every step of the customer’s
journey
● Assistance with ad hoc marketing and sales events/activations where sales presence
may be required

Qualifications:

● 1+ year experience in a sales role, real estate, or construction 

● Ability to hit and exceed sales targets; excited about making sales and earning bonuses
● Self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions of their team
● Comfort working in the uncertainty of a newer company, with a consistently evolving
agenda
● Strong analytical and organizational skills
● Experience with Salesforce and workforce productivity tools is a plus, general computer
skills required
● Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional schedules
● An eye for quality, detail, and a desire to perform at a high level
● The ability to travel via car to customer meetings and project sites
● The ability to host tours on the occasional weekend day in our showroom
● Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
