Overview

AbleTo is looking for a seasoned and inspiring design leader to continue to grow the design team at a time of tremendous growth and guide the evolution of our consumer products. Ideal candidates have strong experience in consumer product development, an eye for exceptional craftsmanship, and strong critical thinking skills. You are passionate about leveraging your skills to transform the mental health space and impact people's lives. In this role you will guide and coach a team of designers and writers and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Brand Design, Marketing, and User Research teams. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Continuously identify opportunity areas for us to improve the overall user experience and advocate for those across your team and the broader organization
  • Educate others on the value of design and the process behind it
  • Envision the future and define the evolutionary path we’ll need to get there
  • Ensure our design system is prioritized and serves the needs of all product designers
  • Partner with other design leaders to continue to cultivate a strong design culture
  • Manage a team of designers and writers across the consumer experience

 

Who You Are:

  • You have a history of guiding a team towards a shared vision and gaining cross functional buy-in along the way
  • Experience leading teams working across multiple products simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate through compelling storytelling and data to influence product strategy and the larger organization
  • Highly skilled in written and verbal communication
  • 10+ years of experience in product design and 4+ years of leadership experience
