As the Associate Director, Quality Engineering, you'll work with your team of managers and engineers to ensure that the solutions that Able develops meet the expectations of our partners. You will also partner with the broader engineering organization and lead our efforts to instill quality into every step of the development process.

You will be expected to:

  • Refine and develop an approach to quality and testing that integrates every discipline and shares quality responsibilities
  • Ensure that the solutions that Able develops meet our partners’ high expectations
  • Articulate and structure testing strategies to orchestrate testing efforts across all projects
  • Instill Able's strategy, vision, culture, and practices into the organization that you lead
  • Accelerate your team's learning and professional development by providing actionable feedback and tailoring customized growth plans for them
  • Support hiring efforts, evangelize about the company and help us build Able’s brand in Lima
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise within the quality assurance and testing fields

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a people manager focused on performance management and career development
  • 10+ years of experience working as a software quality engineer, test engineer and software developer
  • Bilingual proficiency in English
  • Demonstrated expertise and understanding of all parts of the software development lifecycle
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Passion for honing and refining the software development process
