What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with software engineering skills and a deep understanding of CICD pipelines. As a SRE, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our organization.

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and infrastructure to meet the organization's needs.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Work closely with architects to design and implement new solutions and frameworks to bring to the platform, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to optimize system performance and availability using tools such as New Relic, Grafana, OTel and Prometheus.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities, providing timely resolution to system-related issues.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or related field.
  • Strong software engineering skills with experience in CICD pipelines in ADO/Github.
  • Proficient in Terraform, IaC, GoLang, and Python skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understand different deployment strategies such as blue-green or canary.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
