Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like
- You take a disciplined approach to design, develop, enhance, maintain and support current and new .Net applications
- You demonstrate clear understanding of good enterprise grade software development practices
- You have a good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
- You are responsible for developing solutions across all tiers of the application and ensuring quality
- You proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to your manager and/or appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings, code check-in messages, and/or impromptu occasions
- You facilitate and lead technical discussions and/or presentations
- You contribute to and enhance coding standards, best practices, and procedures. You ensure adherence to coding standards and team processes and procedures through collaborative development
- You investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications
- You proactively explore methods and tools to improve the overall development process. Make recommendations and assist in the implementation of new processes and tools
- You provide input into performance reviews for other team members
- You facilitate and assist in the task estimation process
- You complete other duties as requested or determined
- You maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement
- You adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position
- You fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company
- You uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function
This job is for you if
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics
- You have spent a minimum of 5 years in professional Microsoft .Net engineering development with emphasis on enterprise grade development and quality standards and 2 years gaining Agile/Iterative/Scrum development experience
- You have spent at least 5 years with NET MVC/Core, Entity Framework/LINQ, SQL development (SQL Server, MySQL), Dependency Injection, XML, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Cryptography, Test-driven development, Continuous Integration/Build Automation, RESTful Services, Web Services Security (WSS frameworks), and Source Control Management systems like MS Team Foundation Server/Git
- People say your knowledge of healthcare related X12 EDI Transaction Sets, HIPAA compliance, and work in a Unix environment makes you a top candidate
