Law firms use our website to monitor status on cases; independent contractors use our mobile apps to record geo-tagged events, take photos, and e-sign declarations; our employees use our desktop application to provide customer support and keep legal documents (electronic and printed) flowing. 

In this role, you will be leading communications efforts both internally and externally including heading the messaging strategy, developing creative and compelling content across a broad range of areas (blog, website, email, sales materials, social media and company communications), managing the PR agency, controlling the content calendar and being the visionary for all written communications efforts.

Job Duties

  • Spearhead the voice tone and style of all written communications
  • Craft clear and compelling copy across all media channels outlets including blog posts, social media and marketing campaigns
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments and buyer personas to differentiate messaging and materials
  • Lead social media efforts including driving followers, impressions and engagements
  • Be on top of all industry trends and develop content based on those trends
  • Manage the external PR agency and develop content for article bylines
  • Lead the research and submission of awards relevant to our company
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the messaging and communications strategy for the brand playbook
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and customer success leaders to develop messaging strategies that align with target customer segments with clear and focused value propositions
  • Research, develop, and write informational content based on information provided by subject matter experts, including “How To” material for using our web applications Collaborate with sales to create or enhance case studies, playbooks, proposals and other sales collateral that contribute to successful selling
  • Maintain an awareness of how content can contribute to enhanced SEO
  • Work with the process server management team to support communication efforts
  • Write in a professional manner consistent with the company platform



Personal expectations:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Marketing Communications Manager in Role in a tech/SaaS
  • Ability to write in AP style, grammar and punctuation required
  • Understanding of metrics and how to use them to guide content creation
  • Working knowledge Microsoft products and experience working with website and email platforms required
  • HubSpot experience preferred but not required
  • Legal industry experience preferred but not required
  • Solid and proven experience as a messaging visionary, content creator and social media guru
  • Experience working with Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • External PR agency management experience preferred
