The Director, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing our recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and hire the best talent across multiple functions and levels. In addition to leading a high-performing recruiting team, this role will partner closely with senior business leaders to forecast hiring needs, design workforce plans, and ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and the overall business strategy.
This is a senior leadership role requiring expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and business partnering. You will bring both a strategic mindset and operational excellence, ensuring our recruitment processes are scalable, efficient, and inclusive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives, business goals, and diversity initiatives.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to forecast hiring needs, anticipate future talent gaps, and create effective workforce planning strategies to address short-term and long-term hiring needs.
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership and department heads, to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with business priorities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance on best practices and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve the recruitment process, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and candidate experience.
- Employer Branding: Champion ABBYY as an employer of choice by developing and executing initiatives that enhance our employer brand and attract top talent.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Ensure that diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of our recruitment strategy, driving diverse talent pipelines and inclusive hiring practices.
- Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track recruitment performance, providing regular reporting to senior leadership on talent acquisition activities, trends, and outcomes.
- Candidate Experience: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a seamless, positive experience for all candidates—from sourcing to onboarding.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, leveraging networking, referrals, and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Vendor Management: Manage external recruiting partners, agencies, and job boards to ensure cost-effective and high-quality talent sourcing.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role. Experience in a fast-growing organization or high-growth industry preferred.
- Workforce Planning: Proven experience in workforce planning and talent forecasting, with the ability to align recruitment efforts to long-term business needs.
- Business Partnering: Strong background in partnering with senior leaders to design and implement recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals, with a focus on driving performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Deep understanding of best practices in creating diverse talent pipelines and promoting an inclusive recruitment process.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize recruiting strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with recruitment technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other tools to manage and optimize recruitment efforts.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
