About the Role: 

You will join a dynamic and growing team which is the face of our company with our clients.  You will lead teams of skilled technologists for the purpose of client deployments of our products and services.  You will have the opportunity to take part in process improvement initiatives to shape how our company will operate moving into the future.  As part of a rapidly growing company, you will benefit from the opportunities for career growth that come from such an environment.  You will work at the intersection of two of the highest growth industries, healthcare and information technology.  In doing so, you will be immersed in cutting edge cloud-based technologies including generative artificial intelligence initiatives. 

You Will:

Own formation and leadership of complex programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects intended to achieve a common set of goals.  Key responsibilities include - 

  • Planning: Define the program's governance, scope, budget, and objectives
  • Execution: Identify and coordinate cross project interdependencies and maintain program schedule
  • Tracking: Conduct scrum of scrums to monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and take corrective action while tracking program level budget
  • Resource management: Manage resources across projects, ensure they are used effectively, and lead a team of project managers who lead your program’s projects
  • Communication: Manage stakeholder communication and align deliverables with the program's desired outcomes
  • Documentation: Create and manage all program level documentation, such as the program charter
  • Own and have accountability for the overall success of assigned programs.
  • Typically manage 1 major program but may have concurrent overlap with other programs as one ramps down and another ramps up.
  • Occupy an external client facing role.
  • May also be asked to serve as a Senior Project Manager, leading individual projects or leading a larger program while also being the project manager for a project within the program.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our client delivery processes. 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Strong IT technical project management skills and experience that includes 10+ years IT project management experience and 5+ years IT program management experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills including at the internal and external client executive level.
  • Excellent soft skills for and experience with managing fellow employee team members and client relationships.
  • A strong technical aptitude from past career and / or educational experience to properly interact with and understand the technical subject matter of the projects.
  • Agile project management experience - 3+ years
  • Healthcare industry experience – 5+ years
  • Experience leading a diverse team spread over multiple geographic regions globally.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field of study 

Bonus Points: 

  • Healthcare payer industry experience
  • Experience managing cloud-based technology projects
  • Experience on any level with Snowflake or Databricks
  • PMP or Prince2 certification
  • Agile CSM certification
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with Smartsheet
