About the Role:

Reporting to our Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Development Manager will be a pivotal individual contributing member of our sales organization as we push into the next phase of our growth story. The bedrock of a strong sales forecast is filling the top of the funnel within a pipeline. The Sales Development Manager will drive our lead generation efforts and be solely responsible for discovering, developing, and delivering qualified prospects to the Sales Directors. Ideally, this role will assist in the continued improvement, growth, and ownership of the sales development function. This role is a perfect opportunity for a proactive, results-driven professional who excels in a hands-on, target-oriented environment.

You Will:

  • Own the entire sales development effort
  • Drive campaigns through cold-calling, email, and LinkedIn
  • Partner with Sales Directors to identify target prospects
  • Follow-up, qualify, engage, and report on leads
  • Book qualified appointments and demonstrations for Sales Directors
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to position our offerings and identify new opportunities effectively

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of outbound sales development experience within the healthcare technology space
  • Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly with limited resources
  • Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to explore and implement new tools to further streamline the sales process
  • Experience with persuasion and objection handling
  • Start-up mentality – all hands on deck!
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in the payer healthcare technology space
  • Knowledge of ZoHo CRM, Salesloft, and Hubspot technology platforms
