Cybersecurity and Software Security Engineer

We are looking for a full-time Cybersecurity and Software Security Engineer as early as March 2024. With AAVAA, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team building a unique listening device that allows everyone to hear what they want by processing their surrounding sounds based on input from their brain and biosignals. Our goal is to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise. Your tasks and duties will include:

  • Enhance cloud data security through comprehensive policies.
  • Proactively secure office network connections.
  • Oversee API security for robust protection.
  • Conduct security audits for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android applications.
  • Implement secure coding practices and resilient authentication mechanisms.
  • Stay updated on security threats and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with development teams for effective threat modeling.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents proficiently.
  • Provide expert security guidance and training.
  • Contribute to the growth of the information security management system (ISMS).
  • Design and implement global security controls.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in securing mobile apps (Android and iOS) and desktop applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop application security principles.
  • Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and risk assessment techniques.
  • Proficient in security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools.
  • Excellent programming skills (Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Python, C++).
  • Understanding of mobile and desktop app development frameworks.
  • Certifications in security-related fields (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
