Cybersecurity and Software Security Engineer
We are looking for a full-time Cybersecurity and Software Security Engineer as early as March 2024. With AAVAA, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team building a unique listening device that allows everyone to hear what they want by processing their surrounding sounds based on input from their brain and biosignals. Your tasks and duties will include:
- Enhance cloud data security through comprehensive policies.
- Proactively secure office network connections.
- Oversee API security for robust protection.
- Conduct security audits for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android applications.
- Implement secure coding practices and resilient authentication mechanisms.
- Stay updated on security threats and industry best practices.
- Collaborate seamlessly with development teams for effective threat modeling.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents proficiently.
- Provide expert security guidance and training.
- Contribute to the growth of the information security management system (ISMS).
- Design and implement global security controls.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in securing mobile apps (Android and iOS) and desktop applications.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop application security principles.
- Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and risk assessment techniques.
- Proficient in security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with security tools.
- Excellent programming skills (Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Python, C++).
- Understanding of mobile and desktop app development frameworks.
- Certifications in security-related fields (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
