Overview 

The Sr. Procurement Manager is a critical member of the Global Supply Chain Team responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services for our diverse portfolio of products and technologiesThis leader will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, optimizing procurement processes and systems, If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for driving innovation we invite you to join our team at 8 Rivers and be a part of our journey towards shaping a sustainable future.    

Responsibilities 

  • Develops and implements short-term and long-term procurement plans to align with departmental & organizational goals and project requirements.   
  • Developing the Quality Management System for Procurement; Developing Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Procedures in alignment with ISO 9001 standards. 
  • Works with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations to proactively investigate, notify, and assist in resolving problems from changes in delivery schedules and developing risk mitigation plans. 
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing procurement team that is accountable for the delivery of goods and services on-time and on-budget.   
  • Develops and leads continuous improvement of the procurement modules within the ERP & procurement system. 
  • Manage domestic & international logistics and delivery of equipment to project sites in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.   
  • Manage Procurement Execution of EPC partners through Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC phases of projectsMonitoring procurement milestones, leading bid evaluation and selection process, award, through deliveryFacilitate the definition of the program objectives, success criteria, scope, governance, and budget for projects with multi-year delivery schedules. 
  • Work with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate procurement contracts to ensure favorable terms in alignment with organizational strategies.   

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.   
  • Minimum 7 years of experience of Procurement Management, Supply Chain, or other contract management experience. 
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, team building, execution excellence, and delivering results in challenging business environments.   
  • Passion for attracting, retaining, and developing a talented team. 
  • Experience with supporting product development and bringing new technologies to market.   
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities while optimizing the deployment of resources to meet tight project schedules. 
  • Demonstrated experience with leading Continuous Improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and developing a quality management system. 
  • Strong attention to detail and experience of setting and developing standards and quality procedures.   
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.   
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 10 years of experience as a with EPC Project Procurementin an energy, gas, or chemical processing, or related CO2 technology. 
  • 5+ years of experience of capital equipment procurement 
  • Experience with Coupa Procurement and NetSuite ERP Systems
