Director, Loyalty and Incentives Non-Emerging (G4)

SUMMARY: The Director of Loyalty & Incentives will be responsible for driving the incentives commercial strategy with our Non-Emerging CPG clients. This role will be multi-faceted to include personal ownership and growth with a portfolio of CPG clients to meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual goals. In addition, the Director will be responsible for leading the Non-Emerging team to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals in addition to people development responsibilities within the team. This role will require focus on client-centric sales leveraging the existing Loyalty & Incentives portfolio while identifying future client needs that can shape and evolve the portfolio. In addition, establishment of a sales approach that is unique to the non-emerging team can maximize growth opportunities with a few to few selling strategy. Strong collaboration with the Media team is imperative to deliver a cohesive customer experience and to exploit brand and Kroger objectives through our comprehensive marketing, loyalty, and incentives portfolio. Additional collaboration with the Merch Alt Profit team is also critical in linking the role of loyalty and incentives with Kroger strategies and objectives. In addition, this role will work closely with the Director of Incentives (Emerging) and the Director of Commercial Solutions to share best practices and to bring evolved loyalty and incentives programs to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for delivering Incentive business targets for both individual client portfolio and for the Non-Emerging business
- Accountable for leading the Non-Emerging team; driving organizational effectiveness and operations to achieve annual revenue and profit goals
- Responsible for management of pipelines sales, revenue, and forecasting management to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals
- Responsible for pro-active account growth development, developing effective client plans to drive growth for individual portfolio and Non-Emerging team goals
- Establish strong partnership with Commercial Solutions team to identify future Incentive needs for our clients and customers and modernize the go to market to fit the needs of the Non-Emerging team
- Develop and grow partnership with Kroger Merchandising community to align loyalty and incentives to Kroger’s strategic pillars and objectives
- Responsible for pro-active and positive cross functional collaboration with the Media team, connecting CPG strategies and objectives that can enable a holistic marketing, incentives, and loyalty plan
- Establish 84.51°/Kroger as industry leaders with Loyalty and Incentives in the marketplace
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Deep knowledge of the role that Loyalty activations and customer incentives play at Kroger and in the marketplace
- Proven client leadership skills; ability to develop relationships and influence decision makers
- Experience in sales; listening to business objectives and translating that into relevant engagement plans leverages our suite of loyalty and incentives offerings
- Experience leading a strong sales team through a selling life cycle
- Ability to influence senior leaders using insights to create a compelling story
- Analytical acumen to evaluate results, make decisions, and to optimize campaigns
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner on behalf of the client
- Effective and proactive project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners.

- Bachelors' degree B.A. /B. S or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ in Marketing or Loyalty Marketing responsibility
