Group Director - Kroger Precision Marketing 

Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM) powered by 84.51°, is a leading retail media advertising solution. KPM closes the loop between media exposure and store sales by using first-party purchase data to make brand advertising more addressable, actionable, and accountable. Launched almost three years ago, we have activated campaigns for over 1000 brands. Our vision is to become the preferred media company for advertisers by creating a more accountable media supply chain that increases the effectiveness of investment dollars. We are a growing team of passionate and talented analysts, data scientists, marketing consultants, and media strategists who are committed to transforming the media industry.

The Group Director will own the CPG relationships with 84.51° and will be responsible for developing and building relationships with existing 84.51° customers to engage across the Kroger Precision Marketing portfolio. The relationship responsibility will start with the Shopper Marketing & National Ecommerce organizations. In addition, this role is responsible for strong alignment and execution of the client plan with the Account Executive that is developing new relationships at headquarters. This role will require robust knowledge of media offerings to ensure customers are provided with proper service and insights. This role will also have responsibility for leading, developing and growing a team of Account Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Growing & developing trusted CPG advertising opportunities with existing 84.51° relationships
• Understanding brand objectives and building programs that drive strong results
• Developing account plans & business forecasting that meet or exceed targets
• Partnering collaboratively with Account Executives that mutually drive account goals
• Partnering collaboratively with Media Planners to leverage onsite & offsite advertising assets to their fullest
• Responsible for leading the team to support the selling cycle of campaigns
• Responsible for talent development and coaching of team of account managers
• Utilizes Sales CRM tool to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Deep knowledge of the suite of Kroger Precision Marketing inventory and differentiation in the marketplace
• Proven client leadership skills; ability to develop relationships and influence
• Analytical acumen to make decisions; understand and optimize media campaigns
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to internally partner on behalf of the client
• Effective and proactive project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners
• Ability to articulate and translate client objectives to build a media plan
• Strong understanding of digital and social platforms as well as their use in marketing
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to share actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner
• Bachelors' degree B.A. / B.S or equivalent work experience
• 8+ Digital media and advertising experience
• Experience leading a strong sales team through a selling life cycle
• Travel is encouraged to advance client relationships but will not exceed 20%
