RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Lead Digital Media Product & Strategy Consultant- Social & Influencer you will be responsible for developing new and growing existing media products for Kroger Precision Marketing’s social and influencer portfolio. The ideal candidate has background in building media and product strategy, with experience in the social and influencer media spaces. This candidate fully understands the advertising landscape, ad tech environments, and has a passion for pushing the status quo. In this role, the candidate will create and assist in building the KPM roadmap, implement business processes with internal media ops, product, and data science teams, and collaborate with social and influencer ad tech partners. You will work closely with the Director of Offsite Media Product Strategy to deliver against financial commitments for the social and influencer product mixes, continually strengthening the product suite & delivering strong ROAS to advertisers. 

 

This job will focus on several key initiatives:

  • Bring new, and innovate within existing, paid social and influencer products to market
  • Work with cross-functional teams within product, data science, and engineering teams to bring new opportunities to market
  • Monitor and recognize key industry trends and evaluate product market impact and provide recommendations
  • Develop strong relationships with media and ad tech partners to build and create new and unique product offerings
  • Develop and scale new solutions from ideation, stakeholder assessment and alignment, capability requirements development, partner evaluation, pilot testing and launch
  • Own launch plan for new solutions across deliverable design & sales team training
  • Develop and create monetization strategy for your product portfolio in partnership with KPM’s finance teams
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our core solutions both internally and externally – continually evaluating the industry landscape, staying current on competitive research and maintaining distance for our product portfolio

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

The right person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and must possess the following:

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, statistics or analytics.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant digital marketing experience (ad tech, agency, social media platform, retailer or CPG), with a minimum of 3 years of relevant paid social media experience
  • Experience in developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms & reviewing contracts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills are required
  • Innovative thinker that can deliver thought leadership in consumer-focused digital media
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
