At 84.51°, Kroger Precision Marketing enables brands to deliver relevant messages, offers and experiences to their consumers through direct-to-consumer communications, programmatic digital advertising, and in-store activation.  As a Lead Digital Media Solutions Consultant, Search and Onsite Display, you will be responsible for supporting the solution development roadmap for onsite Search and Display, implementing business processes with Kroger, 84.51°, partners & CPGs and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onsite advertising platform execution.  You will work closely with the Onsite Advertising Product Strategy and Innovation team to deliver against financial commitments for the Onsite product portfolio, continually strengthening the product suite & delivering strong ROAS to advertisers & experiences for customers. 


This job will focus on several key initiatives:

  • Lead the relationship between Kroger and Promote IQ, developing product road map and feature development for onsite search and display
  • Work with digital experience, product management, sales and technical implementation teams to seamlessly embed our monetization portfolio into expanded content opportunities across Kroger O&O channels
  • Bring new onsite digital media solutions to market that deliver on our promise to make people’s lives easier by making media more relevant
  • Leverage our proprietary assets and industry expertise to scale solutions that:
    • create a win-win-win experience for consumers, retailers and brands through advertising engagements across all Kroger digital touchpoints and fulfillment options
    • distinguish Kroger’s capabilities & consumer intel from competitive ecommerce platforms
    • disrupt the industry’s status quo in targeting & measurement for digital advertising
  • Act as a liaison between the Product Strategy & Innovation team and both internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of data, science, and tech components that meet the needs of our core clients and deliver strong performance for advertisers
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our core solutions both internally and externally – continually evaluating the industry landscape, staying current on competitive research, and maintaining differentiation for our product portfolio



The right person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and must possess the following:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, engineering, analytics, or similar.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant digital marketing experience (agency, retailer or CPG) preferred
  • Previous experience working in search and display media platforms, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills are required
  • Innovative thinker that can deliver thought leadership in consumer-focused digital media
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively across many teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
