The Merchandising Alt Profit (MAP) team is responsible for connecting our Alt Profit Solutions with Kroger merchandising opportunities and priorities. The Integrated Merchandising Associate - Reporting will be accountable for developing, evaluating, and delivering Alt Profit investment insights that enable strategic decisions for 84.51° / Kroger on 84.51° commercial solutions. Working closely with the Integrated Merch Leads across both Center Store & Fresh MAP teams, this role will be responsible for both established reporting deliverables and identifying, developing, and executing new deliverables that are meeting unmet reporting needs. The Merch Alt Profit Reporting Associate will also be responsible for leading all Kroger/84.51° preparation/coordination for the quarterly Joint Business Planning process within each of the major departments. Success in this role drives:

  • Increased awareness, engagement, and advocacy from Kroger Merch of/for 84.51° Alt-Profit-driving solutions
  • Efficiency and clarity in our reporting structure, cadence, and value to the organization
  • Meaningful, data led materials and coordination with key suppliers and Kroger in preparation for quarterly JBPs
  • Cross functional navigation and coordination to translate commercial pillar results, focus areas, and supplier specific progress
  • Input/influence on a long-term roadmap that meets the comprehensive needs of multiple stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead development and coordination/delivery of the existing Alt Profit Merch Reporting workstream to key Kroger stakeholders. These include but are not limited to quarterly deliverables for: HET Holistic Alt-Profit Report, BCC sub-dept results, quarterly KPM sub-dept results, etc.
  • Partner with Integrated Merchandising Leaders to identify current gaps in reporting capabilities and develop systematic repeatable solutions
  • Lead the preparation, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of all prep materials for JBP suppliers prior to quarterly Kroger meetings including the ownership of the template
  • Responsible for the coordination of commercial pillar updates for (ad-hoc) strategic top to tops. This includes client context from 84.51° Stratum, IRI, BCC, and KPM
  • Identify unmet reporting needs, work with cross-functional teams to coordinate, and deploy solution with a systematic and repeatable approach
  • Play supporting role on IML Kroger-centric multi-supplier projects as opportunity/capacity permits

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work / coordinate with cross functional teams to achieve an objective
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Initiative, detail oriented, strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills
  • Aptitude/interest in Commercial / Alternative Profit pillar
  • Bachelors' degree B.A. /B. S or equivalent work experience
