Lead Product Manager – Monetization, Kroger Precision Marketing (G3)

SUMMARY:

The LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER will an integral part of scaling monetized solutions within the Kroger Precision Marketing portfolio. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and partners across Kroger and 84.51° in technology, design, digital, and media to develop and execute a product roadmap for innovative ad solutions that meet both customer and CPG needs.

  • A desire to continuously learn about how Kroger customers are interacting on web and native to craft advertising solutions that uniquely meet their needs
  • An innovative mindset and the ability to translate ideas into reality through a product roadmap
  • The ability to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of and experience working with a major ad tech platform
  • An understanding of key media metrics to continuously assess and improve customer engagement & CPG interest

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Value – ensuring solutions are distinctly valuable to our customers
  • Viability – ensuring solutions are viable for various aspects of our business
  • Stakeholder management – experienced in building and managing stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change
  • Experienced level knowledge in the development and use of product data to inform product decisions – both quantitative and qualitative
  • Deep understanding of customers/users problems, how they think and operate and the platforms/technology they use
  • Deep understanding of the business domain, stakeholders, business processes and constraints in which your product(s) play
  • Experienced in making priority decisions based on measurable value, given the usability, feasibility and viability
  • Understand and communicate organization objectives, strategies and solution needs to the team to facilitate results (where collaborative/as colleague)
  • Lead the development, championing and evangelizing of a product vision, strategy and roadmap for the product(s) you own, based on the needs of the business
  • Lead product discovery sessions with key stakeholders
  • Lead requirements gathering and management and prioritization of the backlog

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

 Experience managing cross-functional software development teams in an agile environment

  • Experience managing business priorities against design/user needs while delivering against product roadmaps
  • Experience managing end-to-end software product development and releases
  • Experience in the digital media, alternative revenue stream, or monetization industry spaces are strongly preferred
  • Experience working with ad servers is strongly preferred
  • Stakeholder management skills – experienced in building and managing stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change
  • Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate between business and technical
  • Technical acumen
  • 4-6 years relevant experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
