Director Media Account Management (Sales) - Kroger Precision Marketing

As a Director Media Account Management, your responsibilities will be to partner with our CPG clients to understand their business objectives and brand strategies, building effective digital media plans leveraging our Kroger Precision Marketing suite of products. Identifying new areas of growth within our existing clients, unlocking national retail media dollars from marketing & agency teams will be critical to success. You will work with cross functional teams to develop the right plan, execute the plan, and deliver advertising recommendations that deliver against media objectives. Responsible for end to end sales strategy of Kroger Precision Marketing with our CPG and agency partners, creating a pipeline of new opportunities to activate
Partners with the Account Management team to drive the selling cycle with a portfolio of CPG clients
Develops strong client relationships and leads new business development for new stakeholders who influence advertising investment strategies
Drives deals to closure in a new business environment
Develops comprehensive account / territory plan that meets or exceeds revenue and market share, navigating complex organizational hierarchies
Identifies and solves for barriers with cross functional teams to ensure long term success
Identifies and partners with the product solution team to develop industry leading innovation that evolves our marketplace position
Utilizes Sales CRM tool to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Digital media and advertising sales experience with desired career growth in sales
Digital media trends / technologies & acute understanding of agency landscape
Data to insights driven acumen; experience in using insights to influence decision making
Proven results of driving and exceeding revenue targets
Proven client leadership skills; ability to develop relationships and influence
Demonstrated self-starter skills; motivated by the challenge of the hunt
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Bachelors' degree B.A. / B.S or equivalent work experience
8+ years of relevant professional experience including at least 5+ years of digital media sales, analytics and/or marketing experience
Travel will be required; upwards of 35%-50%
