As the Content Marketing Specialist at 7shifts, you will drive brand awareness and organic growth by creating high-quality content and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Marketing you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align content with business goals, support copywriting across channels, and contribute to editorial planning to maximize content impact.

What you’ll do:

Drive awareness and organic demand by crafting high-quality blog posts, articles, templates, case studies, and SEO content
Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone across all platforms by actively participating in peer and freelancer editing, sharing feedback, and collaborating on content refinement
Support copywriting across multiple channels including email, website, performance ads, and social media
Contribute to editorial calendar planning to maximize 7shifts’ content production and distribution
Align content with business objectives and customer needs by collaborating closely with the Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Growth teams

What you bring:

3+ years of experience in marketing, content management, or editorial
Exceptional writing skills with both short and long-form copy, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and asset types
Passion for creating inspiring, helpful content for restaurant owners, operators, and employees
Skilled in juggling multiple projects and consistently meeting deadlines
Experienced in interviewing sources, conducting research, and synthesizing data into cohesive pieces
Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
Strong communication and collaboration with experience working closely with customers, industry experts, and partners
Experience in or exposure to the restaurant or hospitality industry

It’d be even cooler if you had:

Conversion copywriting skills with experience writing for websites and performance ads
Experience in PR writing press releases
Experience in the SaaS industry
