About the Role: 

The Senior Manager, Data Services, within the Customer Adoption department, is a leadership role responsible for orchestrating and delivering data-centric solutions to clients and supporting internal stakeholders’ data initiatives.  This position requires proficiency in driving the development of data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to support business decisions.  This position is for someone who has deep customer consulting background, strong business acumen, solid understanding of data and technology, and can build a strong services team, manage the team performance, and improve delivery processes.  The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with diverse clients, champion data-driven decision-making, and be instrumental in harnessing data for strategic growth.

As the Senior Manager, Data Services, reporting to VP of Product Consulting Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing a global team of data analysts and data consultants.  As a leader of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of data related initiatives; building and integrating tools to increase data management efficiency; delivering data analytics and insights for informed decision-making and strategic growth, for both internal stakeholder and customers.

The Senior Manager, Data Services will play a critical role in the success of our Customer Adoption Team.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop team of data analyst and data consultants, including hiring, training, performance management, career pathing and mentoring.
  • Oversee data analysts and data consultants delivery of all data initiatives and implementation engagements.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand their unique data needs and translate these into actionable data analytics and reporting solutions. 
  • Ensure that data initiatives are closely aligned with client business objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Forge strong relationships with client leadership, analysts, and other stakeholders to grasp their data-related requirements.
  • Serve as point of escalation for clients and internal stakeholders, with regards to ongoing support and delivery challenges.
  • Directly involve in complex data delivery engagements and develop deep expertise in 6sense platform and services.
  • Collaborate with other customer success teams on the staffing and allocation of resources.
  • Assist Customer Success team and Product Consultants on implementation scoping and deal development.
  • Work with Service Operation teams on monthly and quarterly measurement of key delivery metrics.
  • Responsible for utilization targets and maintaining optimal delivery margins.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners involved in data services.

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity building and managing high performance teams with a demonstrated track record of identifying and developing talent.
  • 7+ years in data management, data analytics, or related roles.
  • 5+ years of customer facing consulting experience in any one or more of the following B2B related applications:
    • CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
      • SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM, FreshSales or other B2B CRM applications
      • Focus in the area of Sales force automation (SFA), Lead Management and Marketing
    • MAP (Marketing Automation Platform)
      • Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, FreshMarketer, Silverpop, Act-on or related B2B focused MAP
      • Focus on marketing automation, lead scoring, lead nurturing and campaigns automation
    • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and database technologies.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Experience working with and managing teams in geographically diverse locations globally.
    • Experience working with multiple customers simultaneously in a high-energy, fast paced environment, utilizing consultative problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to develop clear and concise written technical and non-technical documentation.
