Overview of Role

As an Agile Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of technical projects in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, guide a team of technical professionals, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Work closely with clients on site minimum 2 days a week.

Project Management

  • Lead and own the success of an engagement using Agile methodologies, ensuring fast-paced and efficient delivery.
  • Understand client's desired business outcomes, the engagement’s scope of work and align them within a backlog.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Review timesheets and make sure they accurately reflect the team’s work.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation throughout the engagement.

Technical Delivery Governance

  • Understand the key components of the solution and their relationship to the scope and the desired business outcomes.
  • Provide delivery guidance and oversight on how to align the technical components design and implementation with the delivery timeline throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the delivery feasibility of proposed technical components.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Implement quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, including architects, engineers, and QA specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and ensure clear communication of project objectives and progress.

Qualifications

Delivery Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in technical project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Experience delivering complex, multi stream projects at enterprise level, ideally in financial services or digital natives.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Requirements

  • Deep understanding of data management, advanced analytics and visualization concepts.
  • Hands on technical experience of delivering data, analytics and AI projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud ecosystems and their key products (preferably GCP).
  • Strong grasp of AI/ML solutions and their required delivery components.
  • Ability to understand technical components of data, analytics and AI solution architecture.
