Overview of Role

As a Managed Solutions Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for our  award-winning Managed Solutions practice. You will be responsible for developing relationships with leading organizations across industries, providing professional services that drive AI, data, and cloud innovation in an end-to-end sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Establish target accounts for acquisition, assembling detailed prospecting plans, and methodically executing – ultimately generating a consistent direct-to-customer pipeline.
  • Proactively engage with internal 66degrees sales and delivery teams to identify prospects for Managed Services expansion plays.
  • Educate and enable teammates as well as channel partners on core offerings.
  • Operate as a Managed Solutions expert. As SQLs are identified in collaboration with the GTM sales team, adhere to MEDDPICC while driving the opportunity to close. 
  • Deeply understand customer business challenges, key drivers, and how 66degrees managed solutions can help achieve initiatives tied to the customer's business plan.
  • Develop and deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to customer needs, including metrics that matter and related success stories.
  • Maintain accurate deal forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and close plans – while thoughtfully leveraging internal resources to close deals.
  • Create champions out of key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Partner with technical teams to develop and present AI, data, and cloud solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managed solutions enterprise sales, preferably in the cloud computing or IT services space (experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, with a focus on Managed Services
  • Demonstrated history of carrying a seven-figure quota
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and expand web of influence within clients
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and a consultative selling approach
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
