Overview of Role

As the Director of Alliances, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and expanding 66degrees' reach within the Google Cloud ecosystem. You will forge and cultivate relationships with key Google teams, partners, and industry influencers, building a robust network that fuels our growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy:
    • Identify and prioritize key alliance targets aligned with 66degrees' business objectives.
    • Lead the negotiation and structuring of mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
    • Develop and implement joint go-to-market initiatives with partners, driving pipeline generation and revenue growth.
    • Stay current on Google Cloud partner programs and initiatives, leveraging them to maximize partner benefits and drive mutual success.
  • Build and manage strong relationships:
    • Cultivate deep relationships with Google executives, partner leadership teams, and industry influencers.
    • Proactively manage partner relationships, including regular communication, collaboration on joint initiatives, and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing strategic guidance and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partner ecosystem.
    • Identify and resolve challenges that may impede alliance success by proactively addressing potential issues and finding solutions that benefit both parties.
    • Develop and implement training programs for internal teams to ensure employees understand the value of partnerships and how to effectively collaborate with partners.
  • Drive business growth:
    • Set and achieve ambitious alliance revenue and pipeline targets.
    • Track and measure the performance of partnerships, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives that leverage alliances.
    • Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity, proactively adapting the alliance strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Build and manage a pipeline of potential future partners by proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with companies that could be strategic partners in the future.
  • Leadership and mentorship:
    • Build and lead a high-performing alliance team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team.
    • Represent 66degrees at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in building and managing strategic partnerships within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and pipeline generation through partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the Google Cloud ecosystem, partner programs, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for Google Cloud and a commitment to 66degrees' mission.
  • Currently local to either New York City or Los Angeles.

Base salary packages are based on function, candidate skill set, education, and relevant experience.
US base pay range
$180,000$200,000 USD
