Summary:
This position should be based out of Mountain or Pacific time zone. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until the deal is transitioned to the field sales team. You will also provide support to the sales team as they work to advance and close the deal. What you’ll do:

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to sales leadership on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Complete other demand generation  duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • 1+ years in sales or business development
  • SaaS BDR experience preferred
  • ‘Fearless’ attitude towards cold outreach
  • Obsessed with getting to the next step (qualified meetings)
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate with clients both on calls and in-person
