What We’re Looking For:
Summary of Job:
The Workplace Associate contributes to the optimization of the 2U employee workplace experience by focusing on building continuity and providing white glove service.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Reception
- Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
- Handle Emergency situations as they arise
- Maintain safety and security of building and monitor security cameras
Workplace Support and Continuity
- Conduct regular building walkthroughs in accordance to the standards set forth by the Workplace Manager
- Communicate with building engineers and vendors to confirm completion of requests
- Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success
- Oversee all supply inventory, restock, requests and budget allocation
- Provide facility assistance to the Workplace Manager and team as needed or requested
- Assist with shipping and receiving including sorting mail, delivering to exec team, and sending package notifications to staff
- Actively support communications and follow up of all submitted tickets via JIRA/SalesForce system within a timely manner, ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Provide general overall facility management services including continuous monitoring of office/facility
- Support the Workplace Managers in each location when necessary for urgent issues and communicate with building engineers and property management in the event of emergencies
- Support with budget reconciliation for office supplies and commissary
- Work with managers to identify new employee seating locations and prepare
the desks, support 2Ute team relocations (e.g., move boxes, new seating, etc.) - Facilitate the new hire orientation facility and safety tour
- Other duties as assigned

- Provide and assist coordination and support events, happy hours, meeting and conference facilities as required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Experience in an office environment preferred
- A positive attitude and a teamwork mentality
- Self-motivated; confident, energetic and flexible
- Excellent work ethic
- Good organization skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Eye for detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and able to multitask, adjust priorities as needed within a collaborative environment

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is ($20 -$23). Offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
