Our Seattle site is currently seeking a Senior Associate Scientist within the Research and Technology Development group to support pre-clinical efforts in the early product development space of CAR and TCR T cell therapies. This lab-based role will enable the candidate to contribute to an early discovery research team working closely with our scientists to drive innovative new cell therapy projects forward. The ideal candidate is passionate about addressing the critical unmet medical needs of patients; displays a high level of curiosity and creative problem-solving; and is keen to work within cross-functional teams.

About the team:

The Research and Technology Development team is passionate about developing best-in-class T cell therapies that deliver new hope for patients with cancer. Whether we are transforming the field of immuno-oncology, or finding new ways to iterate and improve, we are driven by a personal commitment to changing the lives of our patients. We are focused on fully realizing the potential of unlocking the complexities of tumors and the hostile microenvironment that they create.

  • Designing and Cloning CAR/TCR constructs into lentiviral vectors
  • Engineering T cells with CARs or TCRs using lentiviral vectors
  • Culturing and characterizing tumor cell lines, including engineering of gene overexpressing and knockout cell lines
  • Performing in vitro immunological assays including but not limited to flow cytometry, ELISA/MSD, cytotoxicity analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional and cross-site teams to plan experiments and obtain test materials and reagents
  • Contributing to study design, execution, and data analysis
