JOB TITLE: Lead Animator

We are looking for an experienced Animation Lead, well versed in all aspects of animation development, to guide a team of passionate and skilled animators on our journey to building an incredibly exciting new game. You’ll partner with the project leads group to create and implement the highest quality animations to meet the unique vision and style of the project.
What You Will Do:
- Hold the vision for how animation truly shapes gameplay experience, in terms of the mission animations
- Work with the Design team to ensure a consistent vision across the project
- Collaborate with the Animation director to set the standard for quality across the animation team
- Drive Designers to understand your vision for the character animation and how you want to bring it to life
- Direct the mocap sessions in our mocap studio in Brno
- Define the standard for character animation at every stage, from idea to concept to prototype to actual animations that ship
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- A creative leader with the ability to both create and drive your own vision while simultaneously working with the overall creative vision for the game to ensure they entwine well
- A desire to mentor other animators, and a skill for being able to deliver critical feedback while maintaining positive morale
- An animator passionate about working on industry-defining titles that push your abilities and define true-to-life characters and creatures
- At least one shipped AAA title
- Expert knowledge of Motion Builder
- Strong animation-related Unreal Engine knowledge
- Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
