Dev QA Tools Tester

Cloud Chamber is looking for a meticulous and curious QA Tools Tester to join our internal development testing team. As a Tools Tester you will be responsible for testing the Unreal Game Engine as well as proprietary software development tools in use on our project. Reporting to the QA Lead and in close collaboration with the engineering team, you will be expected to complete assigned tasks, create and execute test plans, and provide feedback to project partners. Your attention to detail will come in handy when you need to accurately identify and report issues into the bug tracking Database and complete Regression testing.

Job Details:

  • Execute tests in various softwares such as Unreal Engine and in-house developed tools.
  • Create and Execute Test Plans and provide feedback to project stakeholders.
  • Create and send reports to project stakeholders.
  • Accurately identify and report issues into the bug tracking Database.
  • Re-test issues as they are resolved by developers (Regression testing).

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years’ experience working in a QA Testing role.
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine.
  • Ability to work independently & autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to accurately follow through on task instructions.
  • Ability to analyze patterns and anticipate potential problems.
  • Strong communication skills (written & oral), in English and French.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with game development tools such as Unity, Blender, Max, Maya, etc.

For candidates located in Quebec:

  • Proficiency in French is required.
  • Proficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate with teams based in the United States.
