What We Need:
The Sr. Director of finance will lead business support, decision modeling and forecasting for our Publishing leadership and Studio teams. This candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly analytical, creative, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial responsibilities and decision making in a rapidly evolving business. It will require a candidate capable of navigating and influencing across a multi-dimensional organization and confident in engaging with senior executives. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, this role will work to analyze, report, and support key business drivers and requires strong aptitude in interpreting and analyzing complex business issues. This individual will have a demonstrated track record of providing exceptional business partnership as influence and stakeholder engagement with the business and key functional areas is critical.
What You Will Do:
- Provide strategic partnership and financial rigor to Publishing General Managers and Studio leadership
- Direct the development of financial forecast, budgets, and long-term strategic planning initiatives
- Assess and evaluate financial performance of Portfolio with regards to operational strategic goals, targets, budgets and forecasts, collaborating with senior management to set critical metrics, find opportunities, and mitigate risk.
- Provide insightful analysis and reporting on financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis and KPIs
- Own game P&L planning and analysis; partnering with Publishing General Managers and Franchise leaders to meet and exceed game profitability targets
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business stakeholders
- Continuous improvement: drive continue improvement in financial planning processes and tools, forecasting and reporting methodologies and analysis techniques. Automate reporting and implement best practices to improve processes and analytics
- Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
- Minimum 8-10 years financial planning & analysis experience required
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Power Point is required
- Effective communicator to executive audiences in person, written, and through clear presentations
- Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and maturity under pressure & anticipates and resolves problems before they develop.
- Ability to organize and schedule work effectively
- Proactive with strong follow through skills
- Discretion with handling confidential or critical information
- Preference for experience in game development, entertainment, or digital businesses

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $204,700 and $300,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
