Job Description:
Within the 2K Technical Infrastructure and Operations team we deliver all consumer facing production systems and developer facing production-development systems under the 2K label, customer facing account services and websites. We handle systems and services spanning across multiple datacenters both on-premise and cloud based.
What You Will Do
- You will be part of the frontline team that is responsible for the incident management life-cycle of the infrastructure from supervising through resolution
- Be responsible for and address issues and events involving 2K’s production applications, systems, clouds, and networks
- Keep interested parties up to date about what’s happening
- Keep everything up and running
- We would like for you to work closely with other teams to ensure infrastructure is running smoothly
- Maintain documentation and inventory of IT assets
- We want you to Lead the process to resolve issues and call for SME when needed
- Working with a ticketing system

- We would like to see Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent technical field or similar work experience in a large-scale 24/7 production environment supporting critical, real-time applications
- You have the ability to clearly and efficiently collaborate with team members, supervisors, and partners to explain situations and coordinate responses
- You can work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
- You are an outstanding teammate
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work on time sensitive projects during incident resolution
- Basic knowledge of working with computers and gaming consoles
- Working in a 12-hour shift model (day/night)
- Problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
Bonus Skills We Would Ideally Like To See:
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows server OS, Active Directory
- Familiarity with virtualization systems
