Our Agoura Hills studio is looking for an AI Designer for the next iteration of the WWE 2K franchise. In this role, you’ll create AI logic which engages players at all skill levels. You’ll contribute in the architecture of combos and archetypes to accurately represent the unique moveset of the WWE Superstars in our game. You’ll help ensure the WWE Universe is depicted properly when it comes to match types, moveset and signature flair of every WWE Superstar. You’ll work in a creative environment with a diverse team of designers, artists and engineers, touching everything from AI to combat to the emotion and spectacle of one of the greatest shows on Earth.
What You Will Do:
Author AI behaviors to build challenging scenarios which reflect the personality of WWE Superstars
Design and balance core combat, and craft authentic move-sets for WWE Superstars
Create and tune systems which adapt core combat to a variety of match types and modes
Immerse yourself in the WWE Universe and develop an intuition for wrestling mechanics
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
2+ years of experience designing gameplay
Literacy and understanding of wrestling games, and their distinctions from traditional fighters/brawlers
Experience working across teams, including animation, art, VFX, audio and engineering
Experience conceiving and differentiating characters, developing signature moves, and balancing asymmetrical fighter types
