What We Need

Global Services, 2K’s worldwide centralized services group, is forming a team to build the AAA cinematics for our next-gen BioShock title. We are in search of a Production Manager to help establish the team and lead them daily. You are as passionate about delivering high quality art as you are about growing artists in their careers.

But that is not all - this job goes much further than just the BioShock project. The Production Manager will also work closely with the rest of our world-wide team to identify future projects for the Cinematics team to work on - you love working with Developers, identifying their needs, and building the future of storytelling.

What You Will Do

  • Lead all aspects of a Cinematics Team of apx. 15-20 individuals
  • Lead and support personnel career paths
  • Contribute to the asset creation schedule and ensure timely delivery of content and milestones
  • Create and maintain project roadmaps and budgets
  • Proactively identify unforeseen problems and evaluate solutions
  • Provide consistent communication with development team partners on behalf of the leads, where appropriate
  • Interview and hire candidates
  • Research and propose training for art team
  • Plan long term development for future projects

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • 2-5 years of game development experience as an artist, producer or in art management
  • deep and broad experience in building and managing a team
  • Fundamental project management skills and experience with tools including Jira, Confluence, Aha, or Asana
  • Fastidiously detail oriented, with outstanding communication and organizational skills (timekeeping, scheduling, etc.)
  • Ability to cope with changes to requirements as a project evolves
  • Ability to work well with tight schedules and with different time zones.
  • Bonus skills: experience with art teams or an artistic background are a plus
