What We Need:

As a Sr Finance Analyst, you will serve as a key interface between Finance and the rest of the business. This role will pair closely with our Commercial and Analytics teams.

This is a highly visible role where you will be providing financial and operational analyses and reporting to key stakeholders that will influence business decisions. In addition to exceptional technical prowess, a candidate for this role must exhibit extraordinary attention to detail and commercial awareness.

 

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Partner with the business team to manage revenue and contra-revenue related to all sales activities for retail and digital sales and provide visibility to divisional and finance leadership; maintain in-depth a full P&L forecasting and reporting, track actuals and predict future financial performance
  • Assist in managing weekly sales forecast updates and validation
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate weekly & monthly reporting & analysis of results against historical, budgeted and forecast data for commercial areas to facilitate and influence decision-making
  • Partner with Commercial and Sales teams to manage monthly forecast process and to identify and analyze opportunities and risks to P/L goals
  • Analyse retailer weekly sales and promotion performance including retailer rebate and price protection programs
  • Create and maintain dashboards that tie back to business and product goals
  • Maintain release schedule and related metadata
  • Liaise with internal 2K finance teams on all commercial revenue related areas
  • Distilling large amounts of data into actionable insights, leveraging financial and operational database systems
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, concepts and models, for business partners to support decision making
  • Assist in month-end closing working in partnership with centralized accounting teams
  • Manage forecast data loads and validation to ensure plan data accuracy
  • Develop a proficiency in and a business understanding of all of 2K’s financial systems and data sources and an understanding and working knowledge of 2K financial processes, accounting principles and internal controls

 

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a Business related field 
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Sales Finance or Sales Planning
  • Experience with large data sets and sophisticated models, proven proficiency with Excel
  • Strong experience with planning systems (Hyperion/Essbase preferred)
  • Exposure to business planning and intelligence tools including Anaplan, Tableau and OBI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with flexibility to work across different tasks
  • Strong work ethic; can-do attitude and a high sense of urgency; ability to learn and deliver results in tight timeline
  • Demonstrated financial or analytical experience with strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis acumen
